Abi qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2010 while working for IBM UK Ltd and enjoyed a long and diverse career in roles spanning forecasting and planning, cost control, expense analysis, balance sheet accounting, forecasting and planning and lastly, internal audit. 

Abi went on to a very busy but rewarding accounting role at a local academy secondary school, supporting the Finance Manager with management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, preparation of statutory returns and audit readiness.

Abi also has first-hand experience of setting up and running a small business of her own, where she worked closely with directors and their accounting departments to streamline their business processes and providing management accounts as well as assisting them with the fulfilment of their statutory requirements.

With her diverse experience working with all sizes of enterprises, with individuals, commercial enterprises and not-for profit organisation, Abi enjoys looking after a wide range of clients at Winchester Bourne.  No challenge too great!

Abi volunteers her skills as Treasurer for her children’s school PTA and loves to wind down at the weekend with some cake baking or taking her children geocaching in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.
