The Winchester Bourne Team

Jo joined Winchester Bourne in 2015 after a few years working for a charity in Eastleigh as their Management Accountant. 

Previous experience covers working in small practices in Newcastle upon Tyne and near Reading plus a stint in Industry for Thames Water plc.

Jo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 after obtaining a BSc in Mathematics from Durham University. Jo loves nothing more than either turning a pile of messy receipts into a neat and referenced file with an accompanying balanced ledger or reconciling very complicated accounts and her clients are delighted that she does!

Jo also provides excellent training sessions in QuickBooks and has come to the rescue of many a person for whom QuickBooks has proved to be not as easy for them as they expected!

Jo is also the Auto-enrolment Manager for Winchester Bourne looking after many clients and advising them and guiding them through the administrative processes entailed in the potential minefield of enrolling your employees. She is highly knowledgeable and capable in this area but has an unassuming, friendly and helpful way of working which our clients, old and new, appreciate greatly.

Even outside of work Jo completes book keeping on her days off for Scouts and the local Parish Hall (busman’s holiday!)
