Based in Eastleigh, this company is a  leading UK supplier of equipment, instrumentation and supplies to hospital trusts.

Their MD approached Winchester Bourne in 2001 for a cost effective alternative to having a full time accountant employed on-site.

Including company benefits this employee was costing the company £70,000 per annum.

A Winchester Bourne Senior Accounts Manager was appointed to this role.

By accessing their accounts on-line (Sage Line 100, migrated by us to Sage 50 professional and more recently to XERO) we control and manage all aspects of their accounts.

Our Senior liaises with their accounting staff as required, providing them with advice and support throughout. We control all month end procedures, process their monthly payroll, produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts for their Directors.

We also manage and oversee all stock movements within the accounts.

In 2005 they elected to no longer have an external audit.

We produce the final statutory accounts and then conduct an internal audit on their behalf, bringing significant cost savings on audit and accountancy fees.

The internal audit is conducted by another one of WB's senior qualified accountants.
